Deirdre “Athena” Sideris
Former Caldonyx Regulator turned Topper mercenary leader, she’s returning to her hometown to root out the evil that’s taken hold. She’s been on the run for seven years, hoping to gain in strength before her homecoming. Pantheon Codename: Artemis
Sekka Pahvi
Athena’s former Regulator partner and best friend, Pahvi spent six years attempting to track Athena down from Caldonyx to no avail, but has finally found her thanks to a mysterious hacker named Thelassica.
Johl Shin
Former Proctor of the Caldonyx Regulators, and Athena’s mentor. The shadowy circumstances of his death are what caused Athena’s flight to the surface.
Talina Rasmus
The Delegate of Caldonyx’s Regulator Pacification division. She was present at Johl Shin’s ‘Retirement Ceremony’ and may still be compromised.
Jex Davoth
The Oculus of Caldonyx’s Regulator Inquisitorial division. He was present at Johl Shin’s “Retirement Party”. He may still be compromised.
Episode 2
Thelassica
A hacker of unknown identity who approached Pahvi with information about Athena’s whereabouts on the surface. Seems very invested in Athena returning to Caldonyx. Who are they?
Eisek Russo
Athena’s partner and her co-founder of Pantheon: the mercenary network the two of them run on the surface. They’ve made a point of not hashing out their pasts with each other, choosing instead to forge ahead and build something for their futures. Pantheon Codename: Vulcan
Episode 3
Benitia
Dietrich Strickland’s assistant, and lieutenant in his shadier business dealings.
Krell
An apparent business partner of Strickland’s drug operation, on the distribution end. Who are they?
Dietrich Strickland
A Topper politician and businessman, involved in many shady dealings, including slavery and drugs made of Kori crystals he’s smuggled out of Caldonyx. He’s the last thing on Athena’s To-Do list before she returns home.
Fotius Roth
The Arbiter of all Caldonyx Regulation divisions, and Regulatory liaison to the Caldonyx Council.
Episode 4
Tuka Sato
Tuka is the Regulator that oversees the security checkpoint for new arrivals entering Caldonyx by way of the train. She seems to know a bit about Athena’s past already.
Rebexi
Rebexi is one of the main atrium reception secretaries for The Spire, the headquarters of Caldonyx Regulation.
Iva
Iva is a lab tech assistant for the Inquisitorial division, prone to meddle in the experiments of Inquisitor Naveen Rhozza.
Naveen Rhozza
An Inquisitor and Psiologist with a focus on botanicals, forensics, and “nasty goo”. She handles Athena’s reinstatement physical, and knows Pahvi. Rhozza has hinted that she suspects more about the truth of Athena’s absence.

First Regulator on the scene after Athena and Tuka dealt with the Knotters on the bridge.
Phil Nutter
A journalist for The Cald Chronicle.
Bolt Beulig
The poster child and literal Golden Boy of Caldonyx’s Pacification Regulator unit.
Episode 6
Valerie “Val” Sideris
Athena’s mother. She works in the mines, and is a kind, soft-spoken woman. Her hair and eyes have become shades of gray, and she looks old beyond her years. How did this happen?
Clintero “Clint” Sideris
Athena’s father. He opened his own artisanal restaurant, Escarglow, which appears to be failing. He’s challenged his nemesis, Möbius of the Möbius Strippe, to a cook-off for the money to stay in business.
Möbius
The arch-nemesis of Clint. Möbius owns and operates a competing restaurant across the street: The Möbius Strippe. Möbius used to be known for nothing more than his horrible food but his business is thriving. He accepted Clint’s challenge to a cook-off, and if he wins, he will take ownership of Escarglow.

Zidol
The Inquisitor sent to begin Athena’s psych eval processing.
Silas Vaz
A former Inquisitor who Athena worked with from time to time, Silas was promoted to Oculus after Jex Davoth’s retirement four years prior during her absence. Seemingly good-natured, if more tired now than Athena remembered.
Olette Rietz
Rietz has been Proctor for nearly all of Athena’s absence, following Johl Shin’s retirement. She used to be a Shazad Aspirant, Lady Paramount, and Athena’s chief rival within the sport.
Episode 8
Rex Dune
Regulatory Quartermaster to whom Athena is reporting for her reinstatement day. He seems very interested in the craft, and also knows Pahvi and Athena used to get up to dangerous shenanigans.
Regulator LePakko
Athena’s reinstatement evaluator, seemingly quite congenial though perhaps not in his words as much as his tone.
Episode 9
Steward Gail
One of the stewards of the Records Room deep within the Spire. She’s perhaps more amenable to be bribed with treats than she should be.
Episode 12
Laverna
Invisible Pantheon agent found entangled in the task force’s business. Athena knows her from her dossier reviews in the past that Laverna specializes in stealth ops and recon.
Episode 14
Dick Richter
Möbius’ son and general menace to Athena and her family. In Athena’s absence he’s become a newscaster for Novi Now.
Episode 15
Darius Sidella
Athena’s paternal grandfather, Curator of the Mines, and member of Caldonyx’s governing Council.
Cressida Sidella
Athena’s paternal grandmother, an elegant and fashionable woman who quite enjoys gossip.
Remington Sato
Represents Sato Novi's interests on the Council, uncle to Tuka.
Irma Novi
Head of Novi Now, the news broadcast station within Caldonyx. It's direct competition is the city's paper, The Cald Chronicle.

Charles
An enigmatic butcher from the Cald Market, knows Athena from back when she would come to resupply specialty ingredients for Escarglow.
Episode 17
Sekka Marv
Pahvi's father, owner of the Kaida Claw butcher shop, and longtime friend of Athena's parents. Growing up he was like Athena's second dad.
Episode 18
Sekka Ruhi
Pahvi’s mom and an all-around lovely lady. She is close friends with Clint and Val.
Liseth Rax
The current Kassar of Caldonyx with a seat on the Council, but Athena knows her best as her Shazaad Aspirant persona “Magnitude: Magnificent”. She was also Tuka’s legal guardian after her dad died.
Harlin Troya
Pit Boss at the Golden Lotus, apparently has interests in more illicit activities as well. Thelassica sent Athena to take him out as partial payment for her incurred debts.

Naveen Fahzz
Rhozza’s father, old friend of Johl and Rasmus. Fahzz left OleraCorp after immigrating to Caldonyx and he revolutionized their agriculture within the Cald.
Sekka Tohn
Older cousin to Pahvi, and childhood friend of Athena. In her absence from the city Tohn became the Baron of the Cald, responsible for directing the majority of the blue collar work surrounding agriculture, aquaculture, and livestock.

The powerful Spectrum from the mines that Vi was so desperate to find, albeit in an unexpected form, and held hostage by circumstance.

One of the Pantheon agents caught up in the aftermath of the Troya siege, ferried away to Prism by Halarishi. He has powerful hair and a piercing whistle.

Pantheon agent from the lighthouse siege, as a prismae his stone shaping powers have only grown.

Originally the red eyed Nakhiir captured during the drug laced fog, eventually rescued from their imprisonment and turned over to Halarishi once Athena realized that the original mind had been burned away. They have botanical prowess and are a bit timid.
